2020 CCCA National Cat Show Update

Dear Members,

After serious consideration and consultation at the CCCA National Show and FCCV Management Committee meetings held yesterday,

it is with sincere regret that we have to inform you All that the CCCA National Show for 4-5th July, 2020 is cancelled.

We feel that for the sake , wellbeing, health and safety of exhibitors, judges and their families and of course the general public

that this was the only responsible course of action.

Unfortunately due to the current situation that we are all living with and no idea when it will be safe to schedule large groups or public events,

we will not be holding a 2020 National Show in Melbourne this year.

One proposal put forward was to postpone the event to November, however, after further consideration it was decided that many exhibits could

well be in breeding season mode or not in top show condition because of warmer weather.

FCCV/CCCA apologises for the decision and inconvenience caused in relation to accommodation and airline bookings already made.

We sincerely thank and appreciate the wonderful support team, our International and National judges and incredible sponsorship that was

promised in order to stage the planned 2020 event.

All financial outlay for sponsorship and the like will be refunded over the coming week.

CCCA looks forward to this same support being offered to our National event in Adelaide in 2021. FASA  (Feline Association of South Australia) will be the hosts.

Thank you to everyone for your understanding.

Take care, stay safe and healthy.

Best wishes.

Cheryle U’Ren President CCCA
