I have always had a cat in my life since I was toddler & they have all been my best friend. I became involved in the cat fancy since 1997 when I started showing desexed Spotted Mist cats (aka Australian Mist).

Under the Djindi prefix I have bred & shown Australian Mists, Exotics, Persians, British Shorthair & now Russians. I bred Selkirk Rex under the prefix Purrcurls from 2004 till 2019 and achieved Group 3 Breeder of the Year with GCCFV Inc in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

 

I have always been an active member of any organisation I have had held membership with from stewarding, being a show manager for local shows and the Royal Melbourne show, I have served on management committees and been the registrar for registrations.

 

I qualified as an All-Breeds Judge in 2018 and have judged in most states of Australia and in New Zealand. Officiating at local, Royal and National shows.

 

Away from cats, I am registered nurse and subspecialised in operating theatre nursing with an interest in anatomy & physiology.
